I find it's really addicting to take pictures of the finished result, but this is the last of the pics.  Cheesy

Nice work.  Ive never thought of just painting that part of the frame.  I guess i didn't realize how much of the frame doesnt really show to much.  I think it would look really nice if you painted some of the silver parts black such as the infills, rear peg arms, the swing arm, headlight mounts, and the bottom pieces of the forks.  Looks great though.  What did you use to clean/polish your seat, it looks brand new  Shocked

I really like what you did with the side panels, just painting the face and leaving the race bare.

What paint did you say you used on the frame?

How effective is the Givi? I'm looking for something to take the wind off on the track and that looks like just enough to tuck in behind.

TCD2004, I was lucky enough to get a clean seat, but I put a lot of elbow grease and armor all into it.

ABullock91, For the frame, I used dupli-color high performance wheel coating.

kneepuck, I like the Givi, but I have yet to see the results of high speed travel. (Inclimate weather).  I'll let you know the results after this weekend (supposed to get into the mid 50's)

Looks nice!

However, do you really feel safe going fast on that rear rim?

the dent doesn't look too bad. pop off the tire and heat up that section with a torch, then massage it out with a hammer and dolly. did it b4 on set of car rims i picked up 4 cheap cuz of a few dents. still no leaks! don't forget to get it balanced after tho.

What was your prep process on painting the frame?  I think I may bite the bullet and do mine pretty soon and just wondered how you got it ready for paint.  Thanks!

tcd2004:  Prep work was pretty straight forward for paining the frame.  Lightly sanded to ruff up surface, ground out the rust spots with a paint stripper (Auto parts store, attached it to my drill) and a wire brush.  Then I wiped down the entire surface with Acetone (paint does not like to stick to fingerprints and oil from your fingers).  Masked off all the piecesof the bike that was not to get paint and sprayed away.  Be sure to use lots of newspaper and masking tape to cover the enginer, cluster, etc.
