Has anyone tried making there own fairings, tail belly pan, or pillion cover?? I have never made anything like this but would like to alter the look of the CB to make it a bit more modern??

I am making a rear seat cowel out of  fiber glass, I will let you guys know how it turns out, I will be making a form so If it turns out i will make more and sell them. If anybody wants one Cool

I did glass lay-up once. Enough to figure out how to do it - and enough to know there are better people out there to do it. Keep us in the loop, i think you'll have lots of interest.

i guess this is going to be sort of a race to see who makes one first. a few members have spoken of this already. i can't wait to see the results. i might even make up a dummy one with a spare tail fairing i have kickin around and possibly make a mold of it if it ends up lookin good.
