Down to $2800 now - as predicted by this Forum.
Looks like it's had a bath but still no bar ends.
The lesson learned: this forum knows its business; don't argue, take the advice.

"This is a special bike" in the sense that it takes the short bus.
-externally mounted reservoir like a baby baboon born with its heart on the outside.
-the clip ons are mounted 3 inches down the stanchions like a losing entrant in a greasy pole contest.
 -unknown mileage. 200? 5000? 50,000?
-unknown exhaust. Japanese? Chinese? Congolese? You don't know what "full" means, Kludgey.
-shock previously posited as a Penske is now an unnamed "suspension upgrade".
-shredded looking Michelin Power tires with a claimed 200 miles.
-ground down levers, reservoirs & side covers reveal it's been down more than Monica Lewinsky on prom night.

If it goes for a penny more than the $898 the much cleaner yet non-running-even-after-an-ether-binge Missouri Elite got it would be an injustice.
In my estimation Austin Powers is a $700 parts bike. A dirty, abused, neglected, Frankenstein's monster of a parts bike.

The Missouri Elite has a real Penske shock, a classy Micron pipe, and verifiable mileage.
Austin Powers has a sales pitch based on how rare, special & unique the model is. The bike itself is a disaster.

Dropped down to $2400 on June 29. The pictures have changed. Unfortunately the bike hasn't.

He said he put $1500 worth of work into it. What was the work???  That was a track bike at some point. You dont add clip-ons to make it more comfortable for the street.  That makes it more uncomfortable! Show me one stunt rider that has clip-ons on their stunt bike...  To my knowledge, they dont.  They swap to straight bars.  The position of those clip-ons are close to where my clip-ons are positioned on "lil fella", my CB-1 race bike.  Steel braided brake lines also hint to it being a track bike.  As shown above, the reservoir on a Penske shock, is black, not grey.  That shock could be from a number of different bikes.  I bet the oil drain plug has been drilled for safety wire.  Mileage is completely an unknown.

July 10th - Now $2200 from $3800

"I've lowered the price to my bottom dollar. Not sure why no one has shown much interest."

--- I HAVE A FEW DOZEN IDEAS ---

"This is possibly the best handling sport bike I've owned, and I've owned many. I've lost a space where some of my bikes were stored and have to pare down to fit my keepers in a one car garage. Come get a great bike on the cheap and help me clear out my garage."

----  Since you've lowered it to your bottom dollar, which is still more than a worn out track bike with missing pieces but added junk is worth, I guess you're stuck with it in your one car garage. List one of the others. I'm curious to see what other super rare, super unique, super broken bikes you will try to sell for $2000 too much. ----

"This is a special bike. Not only is it a rare CB-1, it's got a full exhaust, very nice suspension upgrades, and steel brake lines. The Michelin Power RS tires have about 200 miles on them. It's a small naked sports bike that is tons of fun to ride. I have a small carbon windscreen pictured in a couple pictures, as well as engine guards that are not mounted. These bikes have acquired cult status for their special gear-driven cam motor in a small nimble bike. I would keep it forever but have to sell one out of the garage."

---- You mention nothing that is wrong with the bike. Were you born dishonest or did it grow on you?? ----

Spot on JokeySmurf.
some people have got balls the size of Kong when it comes to their own arrogance on selling motorcycles.

Not sure if you've noticed but it seems that when there's one CB1 for sale, 3 or 4 pop up at the same time, from different parts of the country and for fairly competitive pricing.

Dunno bout you guys but.....it always seems that whenever I have the pesos...not a single CB1 to be had yet when I don't have pesos......4 are available at great prices...sheesh.
