Just posted on the 15th...

Only $2500 for what looks like a very nice example of the breed.

Another one (1989) on the Jacksonville FL Craigslist:

Looks pretty clean, but asking too much...

Can't remember the last time I saw three solid CB-1's for sale at one time...

Yes, its Spring time!  Looking at those ads, I feel its my duty to clarify a few things. Smiley

Austin- Great looking bike!  Some up close pics would be nice.  Great price.  The CB-1 engine is from the "CB"400RR and not the "CBR"400RR.

Jacksonville-  The Spec sheet link is for non-US market CB-1s.  The US bikes only came in smurf blue.  Also, the US market CB-1s were detuned to 45 bhp. $3800 is steep.  Thats only a few hundred less than what they sold for brand new back in 1989, with zero miles and no stickers on the tail section...

Vancouver-  The red tank stickers were on the 1990 US models.  The grey tank stickers were on the 1989 US models.  This bike also has a centerstand, which were only sold on the '89 models and not the '90s, so at some point it was added or thats a different gas tank.

Tacoma-  Looks very clean from the picture listed.  If its that clean up close, and does not have many miles on it, its worth the 3195 asking price...

Just my 2 cents...

That is interesting - maybe a late 1989 when they were transitioning to the red decals?  Are you sure your tank is original?

The Tacoma bike also advertizes a 'mostly complete parts bike' included in the price.  That is nice to have on a bike with parts as difficult to find as the -1 is now.  I've actually thought about picking up a beater CB-1 just to have as a parts feeder bike.

I did miss that, the parts bike which is included.  Yes, that is a good deal.
