Should be quite good !  I have seen "Faster" a few times.......its a great timepiece showing the absurd violence of the last TRUE GP bikes.....the 500 2 stroke !!!  Wink

True, todays bikes turn faster lap times, but the talent it took to ride those hair trigger 500s was way beyond what it takes to ride todays 4 stroke litre bikes.

Let us know how the movie was.

Hell yeah, great film!! I was there that weekend in person. Those big bad 990cc bikes were insane. Stood right next to turn 2 which is the closest that you can physically get to the the track. They would come through, knees, elbow dragging and pull the trigger on those beast. What sights and sounds to be witnessed in person. Nicky was amazing in '06.

D/L and watched last night. Great photography but not so sure about the commentry. I was put off Ewan McGregor after, on "The Long Way Round", he was talking about getting an air ambulance because he got a drop of petrol in his eye while filling the bike up Huh It's funny, just about al of the GP riders seem like nice blokes, esp people like Colin Edwards, Valentino Rossi, Hoffman, et al, (Biaggi maybe being the exception). Compare them to some of the pinheads driving in F1 which seems to attract some real idiots.........oh, and cheats.
'Could do with more tracks like Laguna on the Moto GP calender - 'sorts the men out from the boys IMO. It could do with a couple more passing spots maybe.
