If anyone is interested, I have a CBR900RR shock for sale. It has the yellow spring. I do not know if that means anything, but some shocks have a red spring and some have a yellow springs. Selling it for $75.00 plus shipping.

I'll dig it out this weekend and take a picture of it.

Yes, it is a straight swap out. It was the shock that came on my bike when I bought it. I am getting a Penske shock so I do not need the 900RR one anymore.

I bought the Penske new. Called Penske and they have the specs for the CB-1. I told them how I wanted the fittings set up for the remote reservoir and what side I wanted it to come out on and the length of the hose and they build it from there. The shock I chose is this one:

http://www.penskeshocks.com/Motorcycle-8983_Series.php

It is model 8983 and I chose the remote reservoir setup instead of the piggyback. Penske does have the specs for the CB-1 so they can set teh shock up for the bike. I just needed to supply them with my rider weight so they can put the correct spring on it. Cost is $875.00 plus shipping.

Sheeesh!  Shocked thats a lot of moolar.  Don't think I can justify spending that amount of money on a bike that only cost £640!!!!  What is the shipping to the uk for your cbr 900 rr shock? TIA

Yeah, it may seem like alot, but to get the 900RR shock rebuilt and resprung was going to run me about $550.00. I figured why not just get a brand new shock setup for the CB-1.

So does the shock you are selling need re-building?
