Well, I was bound and determined to fix the problem, but life got in the way.  The girlfriend and I broke up, so I'm moving out of our house July 1... which means no more garage.  As much as I want to keep the bike, I just have too many things going on to devote any real time to it, so it's got to go.  I'll have pics up soon, but in the mean time, here's some details....

It's not running.  It ran well all last spring/summer/fall, and then stopped sometime in late October.  Since it was cold, I just let it sit till spring (garaged) and haven't been able to get it running. There's an electrical problem involving the neutral switch wire (light green with red stripe).  The reg/rect was replaced with a new one from rmstator.com.  The diodes tested good. The Lt Green/red wire is showing an open to ground.

Title in hand.

The clocks show 8.132 miles on it and about 5,000 of those are mine from last summer.

The frame has a dent just underneath the tank, like an over-sized thumb print in size.

The tank has no dents, but has a couple of paint chips.

The tail plastic is a little cracked, but screws on and fits securely.

The seat has one tear, about an inch and a half long.

The front tire loses a little bit of air, I was refilling it about once every week or so, but now after sitting for another winter, I'm sure it's time for the tire to go.

Controls move freely, work fine.  I commuted all spring/summer/fall on the bike and never had a problem prior to October.  The bike pulled strong, clutch was great, brakes were solid. I did have it on the interstate numerous times and noted no real issues, felt just fine up to about 85mph or so.

Battery is new and has been kept on a battery tender periodically over the winter.

It's probably a good fixer-upper / daily commuter for someone who has a garage or space to get it up and running.  It could also be parted out, of course.  I bought it because the girlfriend got her M endorsement and figured it would be something that she could learn on and also something I wouldn't mind riding.  Well, since things got rocky with the girlfriend, I just didn't have the motivation that I should have had to get it running again.

I cannot deliver this bike anywhere.  You must make arrangements for pick up.

Any questions, let me know. I'll post pictures when I can... probably in a day or two... I need to get to work.  If it doesn't go to someone here, I'll put it up on craigslist, but I thought I'd give you great folks first dibs.  I'll be sad to see it go.  Message me with any reasonable offers.

I'm looking for a cheap bike as a spare track bike for my R6. Is this still available?
