You may find it cheaper/ easier to find converting over to complete CBR600 front forks. Do some research on this site. There is lots of help that way.

Also ebay is a great source for things CB-1 related. The right side cover is still available new for about $30U.S.

I just ordered one for mine. If you just need a cover to get going you can have my old one as soon as the new one arrives. Just pay mailing cost and it's yours. It is scratched and chrome is peeling some but plastic is not broken.
Good luck in your search for parts

Thanks. My cover is serviceable so save for someone who really needs.
Have been looking at CBR600 fork tubes.
Do you know which models will work with the CB1 lowers? I'd like to keep my same wheel and brakes.
I found an exhaust on yahoo auctions japan. Seller says no international ship but I sent him mail anyway, just in case.
Used google to translate. It translated back OK so maybe it will make sense at the other end.

I don't know offhand which versions of CBR forks but the website link that I sent has a great deal of info in that regard.
I also understand that new kerker exhausts are available from Supertrapp but at princely $578. U.S. Still I think they are stainless so that may be not so bad.
The shipping on the exhaust from Japan might make the Kerker deal even sweeter.

Well I'm no prince so the Kerker is out. The $400 MAC are out too.
Pipe in Japan is buy it now for 16,000 Yen. Old stock chrome with
some pits but overall pretty nice looking. Postage from Japan isn't
too bad. About the same as from here to there.
On the fork tubes, all I need is one so maybe someone who's done the convert will
have a straight tube. Mine's got a crease at the lower tree and I can't get the last 3/16"
of bend out of it.
Willies cycle in Alabama wants $200 for CBR600F1 and $300 for F2 tubes. I found a
site claiming the F2 and F3 fit but can't find anything on the F1.
The bent tube is the biggest impediment to real fun on the bike. It's tweaked just
enough to stick on aggressive turns. Unpleasantly surprising ;-)

My CB1 is coming along. Still need headpipes and a straight front axle.

Fork tube should be back from 'straightening' any day now.
No pipes yet, Can't talk any of the Japanese sellers into shipping to USA.
Crappy attitude from ALL Japanese motorcycle parts guys. I've been trading
vintage electronics stuff with Japanese enthusiasts for 20 years. Never a
problem. Don't know why the bike guys have such bad attitude. So, after
drooling over all the nice used pipes on Yahoo.JP I'm still looking.
Also need a front axle.

Hi Duck,
Drop me an email at
rsharma@usa.com
. I have a second kerker exhaust and pipe setup (up to header). It's in good shape with a little surface rust and located nearer then Japan, in Toronto Canada. Can send you pics and we can go from there.
