Hey guys and girls,

After a choke cable for my CB-1 as mine has died. Was stood for a few years and clearly didn't oil it enough.

I've checked on Wemoto for one, but they don't seem to have one. Just wondering if any other Honda's would have the right type? Then I could look through ebay. Couldn't see a CB-1 one on there...

Looking for a new one so it'll last, cause rooting the choke cable stresses me out Cheesy

Thank you in advance!

Chris

Tried looking through David Silver. Checked by part number which I found on another website, seems they have discontinued them.

17950-KAF-000    Choke cable

Any ideas?

I might have another one, I'll have to check. I need to hang on to one for myself but had a few new ones a while back. Did you get your front indies sorted? I have a nice matching pair at the moment Wink

Chris, sorry, I've been through the cables and only have one chome cable left which I'd better hang onto for myself Embarrassed If you get in touch with Venhill and send them your old one, they'll be able to make you one up.

Hi guys,

I am new here and I just bought a black 1991 Honda CB-1. The thing runs great and was really well maintained, the only issue I am having is the choke cable as well. Mine is broken and the part number you guys posted shows as only fitting the 1989 and 1990 CB-1.

Does anyone know if that same choke cable will fit on a 1991 model? I was told about a mechanic around my place that could make a custom choke cable for the bike for $50.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers
