how do i make my photos smaller to upload

hi all,
       i really want to upload some pics of my full fairing cb-1 but it keeps telling me the size is to large. my pics are 1mb how can i make them the right size to upload any help would be brill thanks

Hi,

Could it be that your camera has selected a very detailed view, rather than a 'normal' quality, as that will bump the size of the files massively.  This is certainly the case on my camera on my phone.
