Things are kinda quite on the site. Huh

Sad I have some unfortunate news to report, I hit a deer on Friday evening. I"m OK but the deer did not survive the encounter. Lucky for me the deer wasn't very big!
The damage to -1 was amazingly slight: broken left bar-end mirror, clock cases! No paint or frame damage that I have found yet. That may be due to the clip-on spinning back, probably dissipated the energy of the impact.
I may be able to salvage the clock cases, gonna have a look today. The mirror is toast, have already ordered a new one.
With any luck I'll be back on the road Monday. I'll look a little goofy with one stock mirror, but I gotta ride! Grin
Well I'm off to see what I can do.

That's unfortunate.  Glad you and the -1 are OK!  It is surprising how little damage there is. Shocked It can only be a good thing though!  When do you expect to get her back to here former glory?

Tough to keep a CB-1 man down!  Glad that you were okay.  Glad that your "1" was okay as well, all things considered.  Did you have time to react once you knew you were going to hit it?

Gosh that sounds nasty. Sounds like you were pretty lucky to be honest. It could quite easily have been a lot worse. Glad your ok.

ptl, no time to react at all!
Believe me, Minty, the more I thought about it the more I think I got away with one!
