Problems. Part 12.

You guys might remember me not getting any power, even with a good battery. No lights at the "dash", no headlamp, no idiot lights, blinker, nothing. When I turn the key, nothing changes. Well, I fixed the problem, and life was good for about three weeks. Bike failed on me again on June 12th, in a Taco Bell parking lot. A friend came and loaded my bike into his truck and took us home. A friend and I thought, starter relay. Got the new starter relay, installed it. Fuse blew. Replaced fuse. Fuse blew. Repeated four times.
It's not the ignition, it's not the relay, what the hell can it be? I haven't ridden since June. I'm beginning to hate this bike. When it runs, it's amazing, but that's not often.
Does anyone have any ideas? Shots in the dark?

Sounds like you might have a wire grounding out after the fuse that is drawing too much amps
If not, is it possible your regulator could be shot sending too high a voltage/amps through your system?

I broke down and had a mate haul it up to the shop. We'll see what happens.

We changed the relay again, it's not blowing fuses, but we still have no power, no lights, nothing. Any ideas?

Problem solved. It turned out to be the ignition switch, which was the first thing I checked last time it broke, ohh well. Changed the part and rode today. Changing my fork seals saturday.
