Hi folks i bought two sets of crash Bungs for my bike by accident and i figured if anyone here wants the spare i'll let them go for what i got em. They're for a 900 hornet but fit perfectly on the CB1 with longer engine mounting bolts which i will also supply. Any interest let me know, I'm in Ireland, postage shouldn't be a problem but just to let you know. i will get the bolts when i get a chance next week. i've had them on my own bike now for about 2months (since i got the bike) and they look great they are in Black. Pics will follow i'm just in a hurry writing this.

Sold! next friday not a problem, i still have to get the mounting bolts so there's no rush, had them on my old bike and they really saved alot of damage to it, without them the whole crank case would be fucked not to mention the rad tank and pretty much everything on the right side of the bike!

What length do the bolts need to be and is there a specific year of Hornet it needs to be?

The bolts are 160 mm M10 bolts, i'm not sure if they are specific to a certain year!

I would suggest getting in contact with R&G about bolts to fit them to your Cb1.  The reason I suggest that is that the bolts they use are heat treated so that they bend rather than snap in the event of an accident.  If the bolt is too hard it may snap off or even worse crack the engine mount (happened to mine with engine bars!).  Just give them a call with the bolt length you need and see if they have anything to match.  Number is 01420 521100

Just my 2 cents
