Hello all,Looking at getting a cb1/mainly for the wife as she's had a 10yr break from riding(kids etc!) Unless I can find one local (not likely) so she can try it, she's worried about seat height as she's 5'1 tall. Any 'shorter' riders out there to give us an idea.I've been reading all the road tests I can find and they all say it has a low seat height. And no she won't ride a 'custom' she does'nt like them!! Thanks in advance!

Fair play to her! customs are for fat old bearded guys! OK not true but i hate them, they're about as much fun as a B M W. but as to your question sorry i can't help i'm six foot and am comfortable on the bike that said i can sit on the bike on the centre stand and reach the balls of my feet to the ground!!!

They are one of the lowest "big" bikes you will find without resorting to a cruiser. I am 5'10" and could comfortably stand over the bike with both feet flat and still be able to have clear air between the saddle and my jeans. The bike is also good in this respect as the seat is narrow.
