I personally have not purchased anything from anyone on here. I will say that there are some great guys on here that are very passionate about the CB-1!

I checked into shipping for these covers to BC and Ireland. Very inexpensive, around $3.00 to BC and $5.00 to Ireland. They are very light, don't weigh as much as a packet of cigs and they look really good. Not sure if you can still get the stockers. I see them on the Dutch website but I don't know if they are available.

The upper fairing is a Suzuki TL 1000. The rear fairing is from a Ducati 916.

The TL 1000 shortie is going as the full CBR400 one arrived from Beasley composites last week. Still have to figure out how to mount it. Got dzus fsteners off Ebay from kurveygirl. Have to wait for a warm day to paint. Looks really goodwill post pics when its done.

Long haul from Illinios? LOL You may be closer to Grattan than I am! Takes me about 2 1/2 hrs to get there. Currently, I am undecided about racing this year. My original plan was to do a few track days, then go racing again in 2011. I raced with WERA, and have ran with Sportbike TT before. I will keep you posted on when I decide to do a track day there.
With the weather being so much nicer right now compared to last year, the Team Chicago School, which is only $30, on April 3rd, looks like a good thing. Its always the first event of the year at Grattan. For the last two years, the weather has been horrible, (snow, freezing rain). If the weather continues to warm, this could be enjoyable! Then on Sunday, April 4th, its a Grattan Test and Tune day, where Grattan charges its fee for the day, I think around $90, but dont quote me on that. The Team Chicago School consists of a morning track walk then class room sessions. All attendees are put into 5 different groups, depending on track experience. Then the afternoon is spent with the groups rotating track time. Sign up is all done online at
www.teamchicago.tv
but for whatever reason, the website isnt responding...

grattan is a 6 hour drive from where i am!
a friend of mine was thinking about the team chicago school. i couldn't justify the long drive just to potentially be rained/snowed out.

We are thinking of doing the July 2-4 event. It's a ten hour drive but I'm off on 1st, Canada day then start holidays. Will decide a bit close to the day.

Could you tell me how you mounted the TL1000 fairing as i'm very interested in getting a fairing on my bike i do alot of long miles and somethin to take the wind of me would certainly help
Actually as youre gettin rid of it if you were interested in sellin it i might be interested in buying if the fitting's not so hard and the price is right
