The other day i checked the spark plug gaps, took the bike out and it felt like it had 1/4 of the power it should? it takes much longer to accelerate too any ideas??

As drewski said recheck your leads, the ones that go on the right side of the air box go to the centre two plugs and the leads on the left of the airbox go to the outer two plugs.
