He said it was the best bike he has ever ridden. He races mini motards and Ninja 250s in CMRA. Granted, he hasn't ridden many bike( he's only 14) but the CB-1 is a fine machine. His dad picked up an old CB-1 race bike that he's going to build for him to race next year in clubman.

Thats awesome!  Makes me smile!   Grin  Just my opinion, but the CB-1 will be a perfect step up for him!  Just my opinion again, LOL, but the CB-1 is the perfect bike for someone like him.  The handling is light and nimble.  That single disk is plenty strong!  The power is perfect as well, even in stock trim, and not as intimidating as a 600 would be.  If he keeps the revs above 10 grand, he will be pleasantly surprised at how strong the CB-1 is!  There is no doubt that his cornering skills will improve drastically.  Better lap times come from getting into, thru, and out of corners.  Looking forward to hearing how he progresses!  Keep us posted Smiley
