Most of a CB-1
«
on:
January 24, 2010, 12:45:56 PM »
Due to an unfortunate accident, I have a written off CB-1 to split.
Not salvageable:
Rear faring
Clocks
Left foot peg
Frame / swingarm
Mirrors
Battery
(I may have forgotten some parts)
Most other parts available... just let me know.
The bike before stripping.

Hi Allez,
Sorry to hear about the demise of your CB-1
I was wondering if the mirrors were available as mine have been attacked by rust!?
Thanks, Angel

I'm fine, it fell off the back on its trailer on the way to being delivered, it was a project bike to begin with and now... well... yeah anyway.
Sorry Angel, both of the mirrors snapped off.
91cb-1: As far as I can tell, everything is working fine, the one issue may be the alternator, I'm unsure if it was the battery at fault or the alt. Other than that, All seems fine.

How much would you want for your carbs and exhaust assuming it's origional, even if its not?

CB1rocket: Give me an offer
91cb-1: Exhaust is not original, however it is stainless... I think it was around £150 new and has hardly been used, so somewhere around £100 (+p&p)?
As to the carbs... does £50 sound fair?
As you may be able to tell, I don't know the going prices of things, so if you want something, make me an offer that sounds fair to you and we'll see how it goes.
Thanks, Allez.

If you are hard up for a clutch lever, my local shop has two in stock in Vancouver...I need one but could pick up the other for you. They want $16.95 I believe plus tax and shipping to you.

If they're both in good order that would seem a good price could you send pics?

I'm afraid they're currently situated in the frame, due to other commitments I haven't been able to complete the stripping of the bike; my aim is to get most of it done by next weekend, sorry for the holdup.
