Hello all,

I just purchase a '90 CB-1 last Saturday.  It's my first bike!
I'm 29 and live in San Antonio, and was looking for a 599, but thought it was a little too much bike for me to start, but didn't want a ninjette...or much anything else out there.
I'm so glad I found this Honda!  The guy I purchased it from has posted a couple of times on here.
I rode almost all day Sunday, and I love it!!!  It is so easy to ride and fun.

I'll put some pictures up soon.
 Cheesy

Congrats and welcome!  You will probably be in a class of "1" at your local bike night!  Smiley

Looks clean.  I don't like the animal sticker though.  Roll Eyes

Yeah, the bridgestone and rear sticker are already gone...(they came w/ the bike)...as for the Longhorn sticker.  That one is staying. Grin

Yeah, im gonna have to go with CB_1 Boost on the animal sticker thing. I knew there was something I was forgetting to tell you about. On page 26 of the owners manual It says something to the effect of "placing a UT decal on this machine voids the warranty" I realize that the bike is way beyond the warranty but that disclaimer must be for a reason...

On the other hand, I've heard that putting a Boise State Bronco decal on a CB-1 adds something like 7hp and even a Aggie decal is good for a couple....

just jokin around...ok, I know im in UT country- I dont need to be gettin lynched

P.S. they were michelin stickers...sheesh...but then Bridgestone is paying contingency money at the races this year so I guess they're ok too.

Ha!  The Texas stickers are staying...but they are all that is left...
Aggie stickers get your bike kicked over when you're not there.
I pulled off the Bridgestone.....errr.....Michelin stickers, only to find Dunlop stickers REALLY stuck on underneath.
....btw...I've already put a 1000 miles on her already.  Grin

I will definitely head out to Harris Hills soon, probably not this month though.

Wow! a thousand miles, way to go! Well keep harris hill in mind. I think they do a few parade laps- so you can go out and ride the track without leathers. Its good fun. It'll probably rain tomorrow anyway but I'll be out in it- I need to practice in the rain.

Hope you didn't remove the Road and Track Suspension stickers from the top of the fork leg- they have a nice little Texas theme goin.

Stay safe, keep the rubber side down- and remember to assume nobody driving cars sees you- there's a lot of bad UT... err...I mean Aggie drivers around here.
