Looking for a crankcase cover and starter cover in mint condition. My CB-1 was dropped, probably while parked as there is very little damage, and the crankcase cover and starter cover took the brunt. They are both decently scratched. I've attached the parts schematics for both sides and it is item 1 on both scematics that I am looking for.

Thanks for the help.

Unless you are looking for stock, have a look at these:

My buddy knocked up a nylon cover for the rh side. Got some frame sliders from Ebay, do them next.  http://s580.photobucket.com/albums/ss241/rupert55/CB-1%20new%20engine%20cover/

I have one and it looks great.

First thing i'll say is that if someone is parting a crashed cb1 their engine cases are probably going to be obliterated!
Second is that the cb1 engine is bullet proof, you'll be hard pushed to find someone parting a seized engine.
Here's a few sites that might have stock but you'd have to e-mail them.
www.davidsilverspares.co.uk
www.wemoto.com
www.bitzforbikez.co.uk
Hope these help in your search

I know from experience that a right crankcase/clutch cover is going to be very hard to find in 'like new' condition.  My bike's right side was scrapped up and dented from a similar drop when I picked it up.

No longer available from the online Honda parts dealers and cmsnl.com.  I tried local wreckers, Ebay, this site, online used parts request sites -- all to no avail.

I kept persistent with Google keyword searches over a few months, and a 'new old stock' one finally popped up from a parts dealer in Germany.  They were great to work with, took Paypal, and shipped immediately.

I would recommend that you do the same  -- be persistent, and go 20+ pages in on Google searches on the part name and number.

There has to be one out there somewhere sitting in some remote dealer stock or in someone's garage.  Or you might get lucky on Ebay or with someone parting out a bike.

Good luck!
