I'm looking at fully stripping my CB-1 this year and getting various parts powder coated/painted, etc. following this I'd like a little protection so wondered if anyone had tried fitting bungs to their -1 and if so which ones, or alternately does anyone know where you can obtain a set of the JAMA crash bars (I've hunded fleabay both here and in the states without success).

I'd also like to fit a hugger and thought one of you fine people may know of a part that can be made to fit as all my searches to find a specific one have drawn a blank.

Thanks

Edit: Oh, and are there any cheaper options than the Predator stainless system (want to keep the centre stand) and not a fan of the mild steel collar and baffle on the stock system.

I purchased the hornet 900 bungs from here, the only thing i had to buy standard were longer engine mounting bolts, 160mm instead of 130mm http://myworld.ebay.ie/coastalservices22&ssPageName=STRK:MEFSX:SELLERID

Hope it helps, i'm looking for a hugger myself

Thanks

I have a little shop that does modification for big and small bikes alike. Here is a sample of what we do.

Belly pan and Engine Sliders

A closer shot

I was planning to make a hugger for the -1 (just like what I have for the CB400) but there is not enough space underneath the tail section and rear tires.

I also modded a couple of other bikes. You may visit http://rageworx.multiply.com/photos
