Yup, it's no problem for me to post stuff out to the States for anyone if a seller refuses, if they block your bid, I can bid on the item too.

Do you still have the Clocks/Guages?

Yes, and I also have a NOS  screen. I got your e-mail Jim but are you aware I'm in the UK?

Yes, I am NOW aware you are in the UK.  Wasn't at the time.  But heck, I've already got my passport and have been looking for an excuse.  I think mailing w/b better, but personal pick-up would be nice.

By the way - did I mention... I am rebuilding/restoring this 1989 Honda CB-1 for my 8-year old son?  Upon completion, I will show case it for about a year, then I'm putting it into storage until the year 2019 when he turns 16-years of age and the CB turns 30-years of age.  At which point, it becomes his 16th Birthday present.

So I'm hoping I can get some of the last few remaining parts to get it back together.

Let me know what you need Jim and I'll work out how much the shipping will be. The tank damper has your name on it anyway.

'Project looks good, my son had one of my CB-1s, the one I'm now breaking, and he frightened the life out of me while following me on the Motorway Shocked He's got nowhere safe to keep it where he lives now and I'm sort of relived TBH.

I really only need the Left Side Rubber and a Choke Cable.

But I would really like a set of gauges (speedo/tach).  I have an aftermarket one and two broke OEM's.  I plan on take in the inners out of the two broke ones and inserting them into the aftermarket housing,,,BUT the set-up that is supposed to be on the CB-1 looks so much better.

Attached is a pic from May 2010 with the aftermarket gauges.  The bottom comes too close to the headlight.  I don't like them.

So:  Left Side Rubber, Choke Cable, Gauges

Thank you kindly.  19-months and still pluggin along.

I have a set of guages you can have for £80, in good condition with a MPH speedo. you might be able to get that for your other ones on eBay. The choke cable I'd like to keep as a spare but I'll have a think about it Wink

Regarding the choke cabel, if you could give me some pictures & length, I can have one custom made.  But so far, I've not found anyone that has the cable off the bike to be able to give me the length.

Let me know how to get the payment to you and I will do so.

What about the Left Side Tank rubber?

£5 for the rubber which is what it would be new if still available. I'll have to weigh the clocks and find out how much shipping is. It's midday here, I'll get back tonight with a total.

cheers Jim, Drew.

Hey Jim, have you got any pics of the broken gauges?  The faces are fading on mine, too much sun Cool, so might be interested in a trade. I've got a very good tail plastics in stock blue. Has some small scratches and I think one small crack. I'll get it out tonight and get some pics if your interested.

Attached is one picture with both.  Half of one is messed up, the other half of the other.  So my plan was to combine the two into the faux Chrome Housing I currently have on the bike.  But now that Drewski is helping me out, I may not need these.

Don't need a tail piece.  My painter guy knows how to repair/fuse the plastics and he fixed mine up for me prior to painting.

Martin,

I have received the gauges from Drewski and they work great.  As such, I have the two (2) CB-1 specific items that are broken (as pictured above) and I have the complete aftermarket set that I just took off the bike.

What is it you actually need?

Please contact me & let me know and I'll see what I can do.

My e-mail and phone number are on ModernTowerSolutions <dot> com
