There is a brand new (9 mile) CB1 on ebay.
Not my cup of tea, but maybe for you hard core collectors, this could be your lucky day..

I seen that and posted it on the cb-1 Facebook page.  Very rare to see a 1 in such new-ness!
Incredible!

That bid price is well below 1989 MSRP with inflation factored in. Mount some new tires and ride off on the new CB-1 you always dreamed of back in the day.  ;D

This truly is an amazing find. I personally hope that it ends up in a museum where it belongs. Its beyond perfect. If its in a museum then maybe there is a chance I will get to see it one day. Good luck to anyone here who might be bidding. Only a few hours left and the reserve has been met.

That's the problem with these time capsules that show up every so often. What do you do with it? Pop its cherry and the value drops like a rock. Better off just buying one with low miles in very good condition for half the price if you intend to ride it. Even the present owner is shaming anyone who wants to actually buy it to ride it. As an investment I believe it will at least hold value and keep up with inflation. Use it as "man room" decor and a conversation piece until you sell it in 10 or 20 yrs?

I agree, use it as decoration.   Ride another used one.  Amazing feat, to store it like that.  Phenomenal photos.  Wow, who bought it I wonder?

Not to mention, what does that money buy new? Puts you half way between a cb500f and cb650f. Neither of these have gear driven cams.
