I have a 1990 Honda CB-1 for sale with a box of extra parts.  Title is odometer exempt.  Not sure why, it was like that when I bought it and previous owner also got it like that.  Odometer has 30,300 miles on it but not sure if it is the original one or not due to the exempt title designation.  I purchased it about 5 years ago.  Replaced the fork seals and battery and put new tires on it a couple years ago.  Has some dings and cracks. A little cranky to start on cold mornings but other than that it runs great.  Selling because I am a sad man that doesn't ride anymore and I hate to see her just sitting there.

It also comes with a big box of old parts I got with it and never used. Swing arm, coil/plug wires, turn signals, front fender, chain guard, side plates, brake caliper and other misc. items. Don't post here often so I'll do my best on the pics.  If they don't turn out PM me with your email address and I will happily send some along.

Asking $1,400.

According to the manual I have: Disconnect the mini connector from the pulse generator under the tank and check the resistance between the white/yellow and yellow terminals.  It should be between 340-420 Ohms at 68 degrees F.  Not sure about voltage while cranking. Are you able to push start it or use the starter after it has warmed up?

Thanks for the help Minkey.  Looks like we may be in business.

No luck there but thanks for the info anyway.  I think I am stuck with finding a used one or maybe one from another model will work.

Hello all,

I'm looking for a replacement pulse generator for a 90 CB-1.  As you all know originals are a bit scarce here in the states.  I saw a previous thread asking about a suitable replacement and was wondering if anyone has figured out if any other models would work?  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
