Hard To Find Parts
«

I have re-established my connection with a mate in Japan and can get parts from Yahoo Japan again. So if you are finding it hard to source any parts, PM me on here or e-mail me at drewskovitch(at)hotmail.com and I'll see if I can help. My mate over there charges 10% to cover shoe leather etc and post from Japan is actualy quite reasonable. He accepts Paypal including payment through credit cards. I've done really well finding CB-1 parts from there including a new Kerker exhaust that worked out about £110 after post and other new & used parts in excellent condition. Looks like CB-1 fuel tanks are getting harder to find and there are about 4 on there at the moment. However, post can be a bit hefty on such items, I have one here that I can weigh and work out the actual cost using the Japan postal web-site. I don't do this for financial gain, (apart from the occasional beer tokens I get for finding somethinmg rare or cheap), but have had a lot of help online finding parts myself, including a Cagiva crankshaft that would have cost me a fortune and taken 6 months to arrive, so don't mind helping others out.
Here's the guy's web site that he started up a few months ago. You can deal with him directly but, (unless things have changed), he doesn't actualy search for the parts, you have to find them yerself and give him the link and tell him how much you want to bid, which is where I can help.

BTW; We have the same name but aren't related.

Good to see someone has taken advantage of this - by ordering 4 whole CB-1s
Drew's now got a new web-shop, a little low on stock at the moment but growing bigger all the time:-

CB-1boost, these are the mirrors I was telling you about, they're 2,100 yen which is about £10 - $22US:-

I havn't had some in my hands to check on finish so can't guarantee how good they are. I know that with most pattern chromed mirrors, the chrome is poor quality.

I don't have them for sale, they're on auction in Japan. I happen to have a Yahoo Japan account so can get stuff for forum members if they like. There's a handling charge from the people that ship it over, for the mirrors, it's probably about $10 US. If you're in a hurry, I wouldn't bother, takes 3-4 weeks usualy.

Jason, heres the results of a "CB-1" search in the mirrors catergory on Yahoo Japan. You familiar with buying stuff from auctions, you bought things on eBay? This is pretty similar.
