Hi guys

Has anyone on here tried or succeeded in swapping the rear fairing for anything newer, obviously will have all the normal issues but wanted to know if it had been done. I really wanted to get an undertray and single seat cover but obviously not available for this bike so wanted to see if there were any alternatives.

Thanks all

I thought about it years ago and the Mito 125 parts looked like a good option especially as 125 parts are generally cheap. But actually the cb's own tail is quite decent particularly for the age/era of bike.

Monster seats might also be good, velos has something in mind for that.

Hi,
I trimmed the tail on a bike a couple of years ago. ( White CB1 on YouTube cafe racer style CB1 ) took the under tray off then reshape the rear so that I could fit small LED indicators and a flixie number plate ( smaller than usual ) it really changed the back end enough .
Check it out , the bike is on this site under white CB1

Bill..I too am a "tail" enthusiasts.
Ive seen some interesting "tail mods" for the CB1.
I'll see if I can post some up.

here's one in particular that I think they did a "super" job on.
I can't seem to find who's CB1 this is but man...what a great tail mod.

OH...and the only reason that RZ is in there is cause that tail may fit the CB1 well.
I think.
