They were fitted when I bought it. Some chinese carbon wannabe plinkers. Quite poorly visible when active.

So after some days of work this is the status quo.
CURRENTLY DONE:
- custom K&N airfilter
- cut a bit off the airbox snorkels so the bike doesnt have to breathe 'around the corner' through a couple of reverse bent straws
- bigger 110 (too big, darn it) jets. Need to try 108 next week. 110 is too rich in top end: lost 5BHP. And she was pushing 60 BHP too...
- fitted SOME KIND of rear monoshock
. I thought it was the original but it seems that is not the case. My CB now suddenly stands 10 cm taller than normal. the jiffy won t even reach the freakin ground
- removed centre stand (which also doesn t reach the ground anymore anyway)
- fitted sintered brake pads
- cleaned out the front brake
- synchronised the carbs
TO DO:
- replace 7 year old tyres
- replace broken steering head bearings or whetever they re called in english
- fit 108 jets
- extend jiffy so the bike doesn t tip over

Fitting the new rear monoshock.
Now it suddenly stands way too tall for the jiffy. Bike stands at a very dangerous angle:
Custom made K&N airfilter. made it bu cutting out the old standard paper thing, then cut out the shape of the new filter. The new K&N filter originally fits the CBR 900 if Im not mistaken.
A knife, some multi purpose sticky goo and some patience and you end up with this:
Works like a charm so far. the bike can now breathe properly.

60hp is very good, I'd be surprised if it doesn't have some other mods going on.
If you get a 92-99 cbr900 side stand, it is a few cm longer. Also, it's just a tube so much easier to extend if you need to.

Ive already got a Hawk jiffy lined up to go. If that doesnt work ill look for a CBR jiffy instead.

you'll have to report back how that rear shock "feels".
