Hey guys, first post on here and hoping to get some help.

I have had my 89 honda cb for 6 years or so now and its been a fantastic bike.  Last year however it quit on me.  Intially I thought it was the battery but it killed another battery so I'm assuming its the alternator / stator.  I havent confirmed this, as I dont have a volt meter.  I havent started it back up since I stored it for winter and always takes a bit of time to get it going so it would be hard to check at this point.

I'm located in Edmonton, Canada and been looking around to get the part or someone to rewind the stator but I havent had much luck in locating another part or somone to rewind it.  I've checked the forums on this but a lot are dated.  So if anyone has any suggestions, I'm open to them!

Get a multimeter. Without one you are shooting in the dark. If the bike is producing over 15v at 5k rpm the issue is regulator. If less or zero, could be alternator or regulator.

Also check all related connectors and earths.
