Quick update. It's been a while and I finally got it sorted well enough to ride.
A list of a few things I've done so far: better fuel tank, installed rear fender with turn signals from a CBR300, new clutch cover and shiny plastic piece, carb clean/sync/adjustment, and welded the rivets on the starter clutch to quell the gravel in crankcase noise.
My wife and I took it out yesterday with my 86 500 Interceptor that I also just finished this week. I was gonna sell it, but after a proper ride, we've decided to enjoy it for a while. It complements out Hawk GTs nicely.
