Hi folks, looking for an engine cover for my bike.  Ive tried to post a photo of the damaged one I have but not sure it can be viewed.  It still works, but better to have a good looking one.  I'm happy to pay for posting costs worldwide, so whats out there?  I'm in Scotland, UK.
Also, can anyone tell me if the CB400 engine cover is the same as the CB1, if so it would give me another option.
Thanks in advance

Hi Ali, welcome!

You can use a cover off a cbr400 or cb-1, I think cb400sf covers also fit but I'm not sure. Cbr600f1 covers are similar but use a bigger generator so unless you swap all that stuff too, it won't work.

If you get an OK one, you can smooth it off and fill any marks with epoxy.

You could get replica chrome caps but looks like no more.

one more tip, Graeme France (find Graeme France racing on Facebook) has made a batch of replica gaskets which fit well. The eBay gaskets don't really line up right.

GF is also a good source of used CBR parts

Thanks again Morti, found the page and will use it.

Ive now found an engine cover on Ebay.

At the moment I don't need any further assistance finding parts.
