Pull plug boot off, clean inside it with brake clean, remove plug and clean with brass brush and brake clean, cut away 1/4" of spark wire and put back together.

Many times a spark plug will spark out of the engine but not when installed and under compression.

Other times you'll have a miss when you open the throttle to accelerate (high compression/low vacuum) but at idle and slow steady speed (low compression/high vacuum) it'll fire just fine.

Like a_morti said clean the plug and boot real well to remove any hidden carbon tracks and your problem should go away. These bikes like to be run hard and the plugs are designed for that. If you do too much pokey stop and go traffic riding in town without taking her out in the open to let her sing once in a while the plugs will eventually carbon up and give you problems.

Thanks for the replys . All sorted now... replaced the carbs. Goes like new .... these bikes are serious fun . Handles really well and flys .... which surprises me considering my other bike is an Fzr 1000 Exup so I'm used to " quick "
