Can someone please tell me the eye to eye length on the stock shock.  I feel a moron as I just had it out and failed to measure.

Quote from me in another thread.  Read the thread if you want a ton of info on CB-1 rear shock, and what to consider if wanting to change it.

I have both shocks and just measured them.  CB-1 is 12 1/2 inches, maybe a shade under.  The CBR900RR is 12 5/8 inches, so an 1/8 or so longer or a little over 3mm.

Just measured again, hard to be super accurate, but I think it is actually closer to 12 3/8.

It was in my head that it was 315 mm and I double checked measuring on the bike and I came out with 315mm. 12 3/8 works out to 314.325 mm.  So, we're talking about .675 mm here.  That's confirmation for me.

I have a Fox Twin Clicker that's been on the bike for some years and I am having it reworked or I might get a different custom shock for the bike.  Thanks for the info.

315mm makes sense, I don't have a long enough metric ruler/tape to measure with.  Probably would have come up with that number if I did.
