Hey guys,

Need a bit help with cable replacement. It should have been fairly easy job but ...

The throttle cable on my bike snapped and now I need to replace it. I can't take it to the shop for obvious reasons and they can't come to pick it up nor see it in place.
The bike was fitted from the previous owner with only one cable and I decided that I want to make things properly and install both push and pull cables. I disassembled what was needed and when I started fitting the new cables I run into a problem. I managed to attach the wires of the cables to the handlebar and to the carburetors. My problem is that when I try to put the tubes on their places on the carburetor's end. I can fix the one but the other seems a bit long (about 1,5 cm). Tried adjusting them in several different ways but still can't get them into place. If I fix the push cable then the pull cable's tube seams too long and can't reach its attachment place (passes it) and vise versa. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?

My first thought was that maybe I bought wrong cables but they are supposed to be for the cb-1. I bought them from here:

I currently am out of ideas.
