Not sure what you mean with your question. I think most of us are very enthusiastic about our little bikes and the site.
Are you looking for ways to get more people posting or more interesting posts (other than the standard how to questions) or getting more CB-1 owners aware of the site?

I love this little screamer....I can't wait till mine is dialed in so's I can buzz it round town.
What I mean by my question is as follows.
I belong to the Hawk forum as well. I have a Hawk (Bros I think across the pond).
But on the Hawk forum, there's chatter houly if not minute by minute on all sorts of topics.
On the CB1 forum, which is fantastic by the way, there isn't as much so I'm trying to see how best to drum up "more" chatter whether it be technical, general, or whatever.

I think it is simply the fact there aren't that many out there. When I was looking for a project bike I had decided to try and find an NT650 Hawk, but then just stumbled across my CB-1 on Craigslist. At any given time in SoCal alone I can find a half dozen NT650's for sale, but ZERO CB-1's. The bike was only sold for 2 years in the US while the NT650 was sold for 4 years. It would be interesting to know how many CB-1's were actually sold here vs the NT650. Anyone know where to get the numbers sold from Honda?

I think Sugs is right, the CB-1 wasn't a huge seller and there aren't that many of us to keep a forum really busy.
I have noticed that we get a lot of people come onto the forum asking for help with a problem and once given advice rarely post again which is a shame and I'm not sure how to get them more involved - anyone got any suggestions?

It may not be about the number of owners, but their interests
Some forums with relatively few members are super-active. Often it takes one person to take on some form of leadership and work relentlessly to get a forum going. The Kawasaki Twin Owners Forum was started by "Ibsen" back in 2005. Unfortunately, he passed away just before the forum reached it's 3rd anniversary. When createaforumhosting went bust earlier this year, "Ibsen" was still the man with the most posts to his name, clearly showing how important it is to have a person working to create activity.

While I don't have a Cb-1
yet
, from what I've been reading on here sounds like maybe the problem is that these bikes don't have enough issues
lol but in all seriousness I know I am new to the forum but given how few CB-1s are here State-side, I've been pleasantly surprised how helpful the members and info in the forum have been

Sir...patience they pop up all over the place. You just have to turn into a Craiglist fiend and ebay scoundrel to find a CB1 worth the effort. But you'll own one. Person I knew said...."
If you want it badly enough, you'll find a way, if you don't then you'll find an excuse
"................good words. those words stick to me brain like hot tar on a boiling summer day.

I believe you are correct about the "interest" factor.
while I do believe the CB1 owners on here do have plenty of interest, but perhaps not as much interest to chat all day long rather work on their CB1's and ride them.
it's all good.

Very very happy with this forum.
Perhaps Moderator can attract more members trough FB-community/Gear Slutz etc. etc.?
Thanks again.
I think that's fine as it is

Right, so that's the angle. You post a bunch of irrelevant nonsense, then link to your own forum. I was wondering when it would come.
